The Seamstress Inside of Me

Don't expect to see any of my creations on display in high fashion magazines. Don't expect to hear my designs lauded in Paris. Don't expect to find me rolling around in money and silks. Do expect to see some interesting displays of my artistry with the needle and thread displayed on this page.

Clothes

When you grow up poor and have a strange sense of fashion, you tend to feel compelled to make your own clothes at some point. Lately, I have begun making some clothes because I have more fabric than I have money to go shopping.

Costumes

Living in reality can be a bit dull and boring. In those moments, I have to turn to my costumes. What more could I possibly need than my own creations to liven up my day?

Quilts

My preferred method for making quilts is to handstitch them from start to finish. I admit that if I am pressed for time or I am just sewing two long strips together, that I will cheat and enlist the help of my sewing machine.
